Laser cutting is a technological process which cuts materials with a very high accuracy. It uses laser energy, which is concentrated in a very small surface area, to vaporize the material.
The two main advantages of laser cutting are quickness and accuracy. Our machines
work with a tenth of millimeter accuracy. Laser cutting machines can cut sheet metal with a 25mm thickness (cf ability details).
Unlike other cutting methods, laser cutting doesn’t apply any mechanical constraint, which restricts an undesirable loss of shape. Moreover, the heat-affected zone remains small (approximately 0,5mm).
One constraint need to be respected, it concerns hole cutting, since the diameter cannot be smaller than the thickness.
Finally, thanks to machines programming, laser cutting can realize an infinite number of shape, without the constraints of stamping and plasma cutting.
